“White” by Grace Carter explores the relationship between expectation, self-belief and the way we imagine the future. Following a long relationship, the film considers the pressure around timelines and the expectations we can place on ourselves.
Through movement, performance and a playful visual language, “White” shifts the focus away from heartbreak and towards a more open perspective on what comes next, finding freedom in letting go of the idea that there’s a set timeline for how life should unfold.
