The brief.
A breakout song for Tim Duzit, the "Kat Slater" remix to the original song "Native Remedies" picked up steam and became popular in the Summer of 2025. Following the song's success, a music video was needed, one that established Tim Duzit as an artist, stayed true to the original track "Native Remedies" and took the "Kat Slater" remix and pulled it into something visual.
The idea.
The concept was simple, a video of two halves, one exploring the gritty side of London and the other a traditional English setting, inspired by the infamous "Kat Slater" character, displaying the well known cheetah print and excessive gold jewellery. Both sides are quietly linked through the native remedy "Abgo Jedi", a traditional blend of herbs and roots widely known in West Africa, particularly in Nigeria, the country connected to Tim Duzit's background.
