Overview

The brief.

Six years after his last album, Wretch 32 returned in May 2025 with HOME?, a deeply reflective body of work exploring the legacy of the Windrush generation. The album examines how this generation helped shape modern British culture while carrying the enduring weight of displacement, identity, and the unresolved question: where is “home”?

The idea.

As a second-generation Jamaican, Wretch 32 uses music as a lens to navigate the layered and often complex perception of home for Caribbean and Black British communities, balancing heritage, belonging, and lived experience in Britain. The visual world of HOME? is brought to life by MFB, a London-based creative lead and director. From the artwork to the music videos, every element is intentionally crafted and harmonised, creating a cohesive aesthetic that reflects the album’s central themes, designed not just to be seen, but to be felt as a sense of home.
